These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Inivo ("Inivo", "we", "our", or "us"), including our mobile application, website, and related services.

Inivo is an AI-powered study starter designed to help students turn exams, assignments, homework, and study topics into study plans, focused sessions, and automated AI-assisted Study Calls.

By using Inivo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Use of the App

You may use Inivo for lawful, personal study and learning purposes, unless we give you written permission otherwise.

You agree not to:

Use the app for illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the app or its systems
Interfere with the security, availability, or performance of the app
Bypass usage limits, subscription restrictions, or access controls
Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others
Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the app without our permission

2. Eligibility and Minimum Age

Inivo is available only to users who are 14 years of age or older.

During sign-up, we ask for your date of birth to check whether you meet this minimum age. If you are under 14, you may not create an account or use Inivo.

If you are between 14 and 17, you may use Inivo if you meet the minimum age requirement and, where required by law, have permission from a parent or guardian.

By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Account Registration

Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information, including your name and email address, and to update it if necessary. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, please contact us immediately.

We may refuse, suspend, or close an account if the information provided is inaccurate, the user is ineligible, or these Terms are not followed.

4. Study Calls

Inivo may offer Study Calls. Study Calls are automated, AI-assisted calls. They are not live human coaching calls.

To use Study Calls, you must provide a verified phone number and allow us to place calls to that number. You are responsible for making sure the phone number is correct, belongs to you, and can receive calls.

Study Calls are study-support tools only. They are not medical, mental-health, emergency, legal, or professional counseling services. They do not replace teachers, tutors, doctors, therapists, or emergency services.

Study Calls depend on your carrier, network coverage, device settings, and third-party telephony providers. Calls may be delayed, dropped, incomplete, or unavailable. We do not guarantee that a Study Call will connect, finish, or arrive at a specific time.

You can disable Study Calls or remove your phone number in the app. Standard carrier rates may apply.

5. AI-Generated Content

Inivo uses AI to help you create study plans, start focused study sessions, submit check-ins, receive suggested next steps, and operate Study Calls.

AI-generated content, including study plans, next steps, call prompts, transcripts, and summaries, may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or unsuitable for your situation. You remain responsible for your study decisions, including what to study, how to study, and whether a suggestion is right for you.

Inivo does not replace teachers, tutors, schools, or professional academic advice. Inivo does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, financial, or emergency support.

If you are experiencing a crisis, emergency, or serious mental health concern, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

6. User Content and Your Responsibility

You may submit study goals, topics, reflections, notes, check-ins, a verified phone number, and other content while using Inivo ("User Content").

You are responsible for the information you provide, including that it is accurate, lawful, and that you have the right to share it. You should not submit sensitive personal information, financial information, medical information, passwords, confidential information, or any content you do not have the right to share.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited right to process, store, and use your User Content as needed to provide, maintain, personalize, secure, and improve the app, including Study Calls.

7. Subscriptions, Trials, Renewals, and Cancellation

Inivo may offer free and paid features.

Premium may include, depending on availability:

Additional or unlimited AI study plans and next steps
Study Calls and related call features
Additional active goals
Full stats and history
Other premium study features shown in the app

The subscription title, length, price, and any free trial details are shown inside the app before you complete a purchase. Subscription periods may include monthly and/or yearly plans depending on availability, platform, country, currency, or promotional offer.

If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends, according to the rules of the App Store or Google Play.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, according to the rules of the App Store or Google Play.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your Inivo account does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed by Apple or Google. You must cancel your subscription through the relevant app store if you do not want to be charged again.

Subscription purchases are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and/or RevenueCat. We do not directly process or store your full payment card information.

8. Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google according to their own policies.

We do not control App Store or Google Play refund decisions. If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please request it through the platform where you made the purchase.

9. Account Deletion

You can delete your account from within the Inivo app. When you delete your account, we will delete your account and associated personal data from our active systems, unless we are legally required to retain limited information.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed by Apple or Google. You must cancel your subscription separately through your app store account.

10. Service Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Inivo at any time. We may also change, add, or remove features, including free or premium features.

We aim to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee that Inivo will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device or operating system.

Study Calls and other features may be affected by carrier outages, network quality, device settings, telephony provider limits, or other factors outside our control.

11. Intellectual Property

Inivo, including its design, branding, software, features, text, graphics, Study Call systems, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from Inivo or any part of the app unless we give you written permission.

12. Third-Party Services

Inivo may rely on third-party services to operate the app, including:

Apple App Store and Google Play for purchases and subscriptions
RevenueCat for subscription management
AI service providers for study plans, next steps, and Study Calls
Telephony providers for automated Study Calls and phone verification
Hosting and infrastructure providers
Email and transactional messaging services
Analytics and related infrastructure services

These third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Inivo to:

Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm others
Generate or submit illegal, harmful, or exploitative content
Use Study Calls to contact numbers you do not own or control
Attempt to access another user's account or data
Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems
Bypass subscriptions, limits, security controls, or technical protections
Use the app in a way that could damage, disable, or overload our services

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Inivo if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, provide false eligibility information, create risk for other users, or use the app in a way that may harm our services or business.

You may stop using Inivo at any time and may delete your account from within the app. Suspension or termination of your Inivo account does not automatically cancel an app store subscription.

15. Disclaimers

Inivo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, exam outcomes, or study performance. We also do not guarantee that Study Calls or AI-generated content will be accurate, timely, or available.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inivo and its owners, team members, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

This includes, where permitted by law, losses related to missed Study Calls, carrier or network issues, inaccurate AI-generated content, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim related to Inivo will be limited to the amount you paid to use Inivo in the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by law if you did not pay anything.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Inivo and its owners, team members, partners, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where we operate, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the laws of your country or region that cannot be limited by these Terms.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by updating the effective date and version at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Inivo after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
